Olympic softball star Jennie Finch will be making an appearance in Ridgewood, New Jersey, signing copies of “Throw Like a Girl: How to Dream Big and Believe in Yourself.”
Finch is a former American softball player and a two-time Olympian, who pitched for the USA national softball team and the Chicago Bandits. From Southern California, Finch fell in love with the game at an early age. She was a bat girl for UCLA growing up and later went on to play at La Mirada High School and then for the University of Arizona with a career total of 119 wins. She has been married to MLB pitcher Casey Daigle since 2005. The couple have two sons. “Throw Like a Girl” will be released by Triumph Books on August 29, 2011.
