Daytime diva Kim Zimmer will be signing copies of her memoir, aptly titled “I’m Just Sayin’! Three Deaths, Seven Husbands, and a Clone! My Life as a Daytime Diva.”
Zimmer is the four-time Emmy award-winning actress who embodied Reva Shayne, half of one of the greatest super-couples on the longest running daytime series ever, The Guiding Light. Her other television appearances include Designing Women, MacGyver, Seinfeld, Babylon 5, Models Inc., and the role of Jodie DeWitt Walker on the daytime series Santa Barbara. Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Zimmer often returns home to take part in Michigan’s oldest regional summer stock theatre at Augusta’s Barn Theatre. Originally a stage actress, Zimmer appeared in the 2011 cast of the Off-Broadway international hit “Love, Loss, and What I Wore.” Her memoir “I’m Just Sayin’!” hits bookshelves August 2, 2011.

From the Publisher
A candid and entertaining memoir from an icon of daytime television- packed with photos and insider stories!
As the notorious Reva Shayne on the daytime television drama Guiding Light, Kim Zimmer has portrayed a vixen, a manic-depressive, an Amish woman, a time traveler, a Civil War belle, a talk show host, a cancer survivor, a loving mother, and a devoted wife. Now, in this rollicking, heartfelt and surprising memoir, Zimmer delves into her experiences as a daytime diva.
Blatantly honest and wildly indiscreet, I’m Just Sayin’! tells it all and takes readers on an insightful journey through the parallel lives of Reva Shayne and Kim Zimmer, and the stories behind the longest-running drama in television and radio history.
