About the Authors:
Rainbow Award winning author Michelle Moore has a well-documented obsession with flamingoes, travel, television, and frappuccinos. These, however, come in a distant second to her love of writing. With her partner Reesa Herberth, she writes the award-winning Ylendrian Empire space opera series and the New Adult Transportation series. All by her lonesome, she writes the paranormal Playa Escondida series.
Michelle divides her time between Washington, DC and the oldest city in the nation, St. Augustine, Florida. She’s hoping to figure out how to write on the beach without getting sand in her keyboard, and once she solves that, she’ll move on to the age-old question of how to write with cats in the house.
Reesa Herberth grew up in Hawaii, tried Arizona for a few years, and eventually settled in the DC area because it turned out moving from a tropical rainforest to a desert was more of a shock than she could stand.
She’s held a variety of crazy writer jobs, including book and video store manager for a defunct chain of music shops, office goddess for an artisan ice cream maker, cheese-cup scrubber at an organic goat dairy, and dye-stained proprietor of a small fiber arts business. Her hobbies include collecting art supplies, competitive procrastination, and just about anything that turns wool into clothes.
With and without Michelle Moore, her other works include the award-winning Ylendrian Empire books—science fiction romance with a queer twist.
