Lisa Lawmaster Hess is a transplanted Jersey girl who has lived in Pennsylvania for most of her adult life. She is the author of two nonfiction books (Acting Assertively and Diverse Divorce) and two novels (Casting the First Stone and Chasing a Second Chance). Lisa blogs at The Porch Swing Chronicles and Organizing By STYLE, and she is a contributor at CatholicMom.com. A retired elementary school counselor, Lisa is an adjunct professor of psychology at York College of Pennsylvania.
